Our Sessions
Three formats for getting your records in order, at your own pace
From a two-hour introduction to a full multi-week programme — each session is educational, companion-supported, and designed to leave you with something useful.
Our Approach
How every Nestphase session is structured
Regardless of which session you choose, the Nestphase approach follows the same principles. We start by explaining what the session can and cannot cover. Then we work through your documents together — categorising, labelling, and building a structure that will be legible to you and to the people who rely on you.
Nothing is assumed about your existing system. Participants arrive with documents in whatever condition they are in — loose, bundled, archived in folders, or piled in a bag — and we work from there. The objective is always to leave you with something cleaner, more navigable, and more useful to your household than what you arrived with.
Scope explanation
Each session opens with a clear explanation of what the companion can help with — and where the boundary of educational scope lies.
Category mapping
We walk through the general document categories relevant to your situation, so you understand what the framework covers before sorting begins.
Sorting and labelling
With a framework in hand, documents are sorted and labelled according to the system you will actually use at home.
Closing review and handover
The session closes with a review of what was completed and the handover of reference materials for you to take home.
Retirement Records Information Session
An introductory session covering what kinds of personal records typically come up in retirement-age planning, with a general framework for sorting and labelling. Delivered as education and information only — not as advice on entitlements or income matters. Participants leave with a printed reference sheet and a simple folder labelling system to reuse at home.
- General record category overview for retirement age
- Practical folder labelling system designed for home use
- Printed reference sheet to keep and use after the session
- Suitable for people who prefer an individual, self-directed format
Document Companion Workshop
A small-group workshop where each participant brings their own document collection and works through it with a companion. Focuses on inventory, labelling, and family-reference handouts. The companion explains general categories and answers general organisation questions; opinions on entitlements or financial outcomes are outside the scope of this session.
- Small-group setting — individual attention while sharing the format
- Work directly with your own document collection during the session
- Document inventory and labelling completed during the workshop
- Family-reference handouts prepared for household use
Extended Records Re-Organisation Programme
A multi-session programme for individuals or couples seeking a thorough records reorganisation. Covers inventory, scanning checklists, family-reference binders, and the design of a household reference folder. Sessions run weekly with rest periods between each, and the programme stays clearly within an educational and administrative scope throughout.
- Multi-session weekly programme — typically four to six weeks
- Scanning checklist designed around your specific document types
- Complete household reference binder produced by end of programme
- Suitable for individuals or couples attending together

Standards Across All Sessions
What applies to every format
Document security
Original documents remain in participants' possession throughout. No documents leave the session room in any hands other than the participant's.
PDPA compliance
Personal data collected at booking (name, contact details) is handled in compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and used only for session coordination.
Educational scope boundary
Every companion is trained to stay within the educational and administrative remit. Questions touching on entitlements, pensions, or legal matters are clearly redirected to appropriate professionals.
Written feedback collection
Feedback forms are collected at the close of each session. Responses inform quarterly updates to session frameworks and reference materials.
Rescheduling accommodation
Session dates for the extended programme can be adjusted without penalty if circumstances change. Flexibility is built into the booking arrangement from the outset.
No referral arrangements
Nestphase does not receive fees for referrals to any third-party service. Any suggestion to seek outside professional input is independent of commercial considerations.
